My mom always talked about her dad’s Metropolitan, it was his commuter car back in the day. Both RIP.
"it's made in china", so what? everything else is as well. name ten things other than americans that are made in america.
Show us your fix and how she runs!!
Love seeing cars like this on the road.
Always nice when them gas and oil checks hit the bank 😂
Thats a cool car, hey I was wondering if you do much sewing, do you have a sewing machine? I recently bought a singer 191j
My first vehicle was a Nash Rambler.
Why do you want straight weight?
Sweet
That’s a gem
Very nice.....00TG from Illinois....
Beautiful little car is it yours mr.logcabinlooms? My audio on phone isn't to good i didn't know if you said or not you have great taste in vehicles ive noticed in other videos of yours
Not mine, my brother's wife bought it
That’s a Beauty thanks for posting 👍🏻
Looks like it could shocks@😅
Always wanted a convertible for deer hunting haha
I got lucky. I can run Shell Rotella 15-40 in everything accept my Nissan Pickup with VVT. I have to run 5w30 in it for it to work properly
I like it, no back up cam and screen, no power locks or widows, no heated or electric seats. Alot less to not to have to repair, but finding parts you may need might prove to be a daunting task. Never going to have to pull up an error code or replace an O2 sensor, hee hee thats great.
Looks like one of those 1960's amphibious cars!!!
Cool old car.
The engine is cool, more powerful motorcycle engines. Tiny engine for tiny car! LOL
Beautiful car sir
Chick Magnet II 😅
Gas mileage would surprise a lot of people. Nice little car.
That is a slick looking car. Enjoyed the video. Reminds me of the times me and my little brother would ride together on the back roads in our latest "purchase". Good times.
Noice
Three speed?
Yep
I had a 59 till bout 5 yrs ago,,it was my mororcoach tow car,,it leaked everthing ,, including fluids it did not have,,but it never failed to start , AMAZING!
Leaking wouldn't be surprising, that tiny four banger is a British made motor, all thing British leak in my experience. I worked at a dealership that sold Triumph motorcycles back in the day, you never put oil in a bike that went on the showroom floor.
I bought 3 Quarts of HD30 for my brush hog from O'Reilly Auto Parts yesterday in Johnson City, TN for $19.68 including tax. Store brand, not Castrol brand.
That car looks beautiful!
Very well designed, excellent use of space. Plenty of leg room, large trunk, and such a tiny motor leaves lots of room under the hood to work on it. At the time when most manufacturers went really big, Nash went a whole different direction. They still have a very involved cult like following, people love to see them, you can't be an introvert if you drive a Metropolitan. In the Superman series Louis Lane drove a Metropolitan.
Nice
I was worried the dog was going to jump on the side of her pretty new ride and scatch it all up! Definitely more of a Sunday country cruiser than a Interstate car! Enjoy...
Nice little car!
Had 59 as my motorcoach tow car
That's such a lovely automobile.
Cute car, Does her legs hurt after peddling it from Minneapolis?
Sweet
Love me some Colby cheese- the very best comes from the town of Colby, in Wisconsin👍🏻
A friend of mine rebuilt a little Rambler wagon with a V8 in it. Draws a lot of attention at car shows.
My first car was a 64 rambler american wagon. Dad gave it to me in 73' . 6 cylinder
Fantastic!
Wish I had bought cases of it when it was 99 cent per quart. Antifreeze to.
They went to a car show in Minneapolis over the weekend, she fell in love with this Nash and bought it. My brother drove it home over two hundred miles on the interstate, and a Metropolitan wasn't made for highway speeds.
I know where there is probably 15 or so of those sitting in various conditions.
Yea, and I will take every minute that it wasn't made for highway speeds. She made a wise decision, to go into the slow lane!
Beautiful car!👍🏽😀❤️🇺🇸
Meet George Jetson...
His boy Elroy...
Dog is bigger than the car
It's a beaut!!
Caterpillar has great strait 30w
I found out da hard way u can not run synthetic oil n older equipment . It doesn't burn right w older diesel motors causing more ",blow by" which causes the air filter to plug up w the oily mist ! Couldn't believe it if I didn't c it . Bottom line they don't want anyone working . I flatiron, supplies harder n harder to get . I was down 4 wks putting on a turbo and exhaust on a semi . 🤦 "FJB" 🖕
Sorry but this is just silly. Rotella T4 from wally world is all that thing needs. Cheap and cheerful. You can't beat it at 4 bucks a quart give or take.
You are the man...
I really hate the market manipulation. The making of crap in order to get one over on the consumer … in the name of profit; has to end. What the generations that never lived / never experienced when things were made to last need to do is to stop buying / supporting the crap made these days. By agreeing to / accepting to, buy the crap ( especially at higher prices ) you’ll never actually keep anything of value; including your money.
